04/11/2021 - We're Water Proof Again

We have now moved from having a 100 year old roof (which was starting to show it's age) to new waterproof liner and baton combination!  Next job is to put the tiles back.

 

This is one of those awful very skilled jobs that takes forever but in the end you just end up with a roof that, hopefully, will look as it did before.  At least we've got rid of one ugly chimney though.

Still it's good to be water tight and this will enable us to start decorating bedrooms next year without the worry of everything being spoilt by drips and leaks in stormy weather.
