At Tillington House you will find a warm welcome in a comfortable home, ideally situated just a short walk from the beach.

There are plenty of spaces inside and out for quietness and stillness, encouraging a slower pace of life.  These include:

• a small chapel

• a creative room with a range of craft facilities

• a snug and a lounge (both with open fires for colder days)

• a beautiful secluded garden with various seating areas

• a swimming pool and a sauna to help you relax at the end of the day.

We have two en suite guest room and two further guest rooms.  All are well appointed with a writing desk and a comfortable chair.  Free WiFi is available if you require it.

If you stay at Tillington House on retreat, you will be invited to join the daily prayer rhythm of the Northumbria Community, and be welcomed at the family meal table to enjoy good home cooking.
