01/10/2021 - House Refurbishment Begins

Having said goodbye to our last guest we have now closed Tillington House for the rest of the year to start a major refurbishment of the pool and kitchen area.  Our timing could have been better; having been closed for most of the year due to the pandemic.  We start 3 months of work this week

​

We've started with a major revamp of the swimming pool to fix various leaks and install a new liner, lights, dehumidifier etc.  We now need to get the boiler working again to bring it up to temperature.

 

We have also taken delivery of new sofas for the lounge and a picture for the snug.

​

Now we're waiting for scaffolding to be erected so our builders can start work on the main and kitchen rooves before we get a new kitchen installed.  We hope to post regular updates on Instagram and Facebook for those friends who are interested in seeing the chaos develop.
