14/02/2021 - A Very Special Week

This has been a huge week for the Tillington House family.  With Graham starting early retirement and Dawn's birthday coming one after the other, life is changing down here at Burnham.

We'd like to thank everyone who sent cards and best wishes to Dawn.  We thought last year that February would be safe for a birthday and we'd be back to something like normal.  However, we are all having lock down birthdays now.  Dawn celebrated in style though with friends and family on Zoom,  a little fizz with Coffee and Walnut cake.  We know how to treat her.

Graham's retirement started as he means it to go on, spending as much time in the garden as the cold (and Dawn) would allow.  The gardening year has started with planting sweet peas and turning the compost heap. 

 

Hopefully though we'll both now have more time to prepare the house, garden and ourselves to receive guests when allowed.
